Sunday May 2nd is opening day of the showcase.
The first performance will be presented at 7.30 pm followed by an official opening reception.

If you arrive earlier on Sunday, you will have an opportunity to take part in a guided tour of the Women’s Museum which is located in a historic building by the cathedral in central Aarhus.

For those who arrive earlier on Sunday May 2nd it is also possible to see two of the performances, The Walk Around and Anima, play for a Danish audience in the original language. The Walk Around plays at 10.30 am and Anima plays at 3 pm.

Monday May 3rd is conference day.
Danish theatre presenters will join the international delegates in a day of discussing artistic quality in performing arts. From a presentation of the IAN-model – a model for evaluating artistic quality in performing arts – and from two performances, a panel of Danish and international theatre people will discuss their ideas of artistic quality – in general and in the shown performances.

After the conference the international delegated will see two further performances in the evening.

Tuesday May 4th will be presenting 6 performances.

Wednesday May 5th is the final day of the showcase.
Three performances will be presented. After the last performance there will be lunch and aftertalk until 2.30 pm.

For those who depart later on Wednesday there will be an opportunity for participating in an event or guided tour in the afternoon.

The first :DANISH+ took place in April 2008. About 60 international delegates participated and evaluated the event:

":DANISH+ is a valuable addition to the Danish scene. For international delegates it may become a way of seeing more quality work in a shorter space of time"

"It was a wonderfully run festival - an experience of what Danish Theatre for Young Audience has to offer. I commend the organizers for making it such a successful first event"

"This festival was so well done it is hard to believe that it's its first year. Congratulations"

In the light of the very positive feedback :DANISH+ is set up as a biennale.
